Registration

Registration for the Fall 2008 Import Showdown Track Day is now closed.

Please note: You must agree to the rules and conditions in order to register.  If you have questions about either, your ability to pass tech inspection, or any other questions please ask prior to registering!

Registration Rules

- There are no refunds for registrations.

- If you cannot attend you may sell your registration to someone else.  To do so you must notify us using the email address used to paypal/register telling us who is taking your spot.  They will be required to fill out all paperwork.  Depending on demand we MAY be able to assist you in selling your slot. Minimum notification of substitutions are 2 weeks before event.

- No refunds for failing Tech Inspections Onsite, rules violations (including being removed), failure to show, mechanical failure, or failure to meet any other condition required.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  ASK FIRST PLEASE!- Once you are paid and registered you are guaranteed your slot.

- Sorry, we do not allow slot sharing for this event.  Slots are sold as a per driver.  You may bring additional cars, each must pass Tech individually, but only one driver per slot.

- You must be 18 years old and carry a valid drivers license.  This is an insurance requirement.

- There are a maximum of 12 slots available.  Slots are only guaranteed with payment and once they are filled, registration will be closed.

- Registrations include lunch.  Additional lunches may be purchased.

Groups/Classes

There are three groups which are based on experience level.  This will help ensure drivers who are experienced are not as limited by drivers who are slower.  Likewise, we want to ensure those less experienced drivers have an opportunity to got at a pace that is comfortable without worrying about holding up other drivers.  When registering please indicate your experience level so we may group you accordingly.  For experience level, the term "track days" is generic, meaning any organized event at a road course.  Also note that although AutoX experience is a good judge of potential driver skill, the higher speeds of a road course make for a different enviornment, so please be conservative when determining your class if it is based solely on AutoX experience.

- Beginner (Less than 2 track days)

- Intermediate (At least 2 track day events, regular autox etc)

- Advanced (Many track day experiences/time trails)

Time Trials

Time Trails will be held at the end of the day for trophies and prizes.  Entry in the time trial will be limited to those drivers in the Intermerdate and Advanced classes who have displayed safe driving operation throughout the day.  There is no additional cost and this is a "run what you brung" style competition.  Note: Due to the emphasis on "performing" Time Trials will be limited to a single car on "hot" laps at a time and you must understand that all rules regarding safety remain in effect.  Please use the proper level of caution and drive within your abilities!

To encourage safe driving during the time trials, lap times will be voided for loss of control (spinning out) and or getting tire(s) off track.

Agreements And Forms

In order to join in this event you must agree to our Rules, Registration/Attendance Conditions and Complete All Forms and Waviers.  You agree you are attending this event at your own risk from the actions of yourself and others and that we are simply provided an organization mechanism where you retain all responsibilities.  Your legal constent to all of these rules, terms, and conditions will be bound by signing the required paperwork.  Please note that failure to adhere to these rules or to complete and sign paperwork will result in you not being able to driver on course during the event, without refund.
