Import Showdown 2008

The Import Showdown needs your help. One of our racers recently had their car stolen. Although it wasn't stolen from the Import Showdown, he was a competitor at our Spring event and is offering a $3000 reward. Since he car was at our event and drew a lot of attention, we are hoping one of our other attendees recongizes the car and can provider information.

A few final thoughts on the Spring 2008 - we are expecting beautiful weather tomorrow. Partly cloud and highs in the low 80s. Should be perfect weather for Drag Racing! However, with the nice weather, don't forget the long pants if you are racing. Also, if you are a fan of Road Courses/Track Days, we are going to be giving away a pass to the 2008 Import Showdown Track Day! (The date of the Import Showdown is TBD)

The Import Showdown staff will be traveling to the Silver Dollar Area beginning Saturday afternoon. Although we will make every effort to continue to check in for questions about the event, we may not be able to respond or may be delayed in our respones. See everyone Sunday!

As with all Import Showdowns (and any other event at an NHRA sanctioned track) long pants are required for ALL racers. In addition, NHRA safety requirements are enforced, including helmets for those with times quicker than 13.99.
